Mr Gaetan Vannay

Gaetan Vannay is a strategic communications and advocacy specialist, advising actors involved in conflict resolution and prevention, or active in human security. Working as a lecturer and trainer for various organizations and think tanks, he has trained and advised diplomats, NATO and government officials, foreign policy advisors, military officers, as well as journalists from over 50 countries.

Gaetan Vannay worked as Embassy Counsellor and Human Security Advisor at the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine between 2023 and 2026. In 2015, he co-founded a startup active in AI and security information management. Journalist by training, Gaetan Vannay was a correspondent in the United Kingdom and in Russia, then head of the foreign affairs news desk for the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, and a war reporter collaborating with various Swiss and international media.
