Profile

Amber Darwish is an international policy adviser and emerging scholar with a proven track record of in-depth research, analysis, and practice in the fields of conventional disarmament, arms reduction, arms control, and non-proliferation. Her professional experience encompasses roles with UNIDIR, UNODC, and INTERPOL, and as the Chief of the Geneva Office of Conflict Armament Research. In 2015, she served as the Arms Sanctions Expert on the UN Monitoring Group on Somalia and Eritrea. Amber holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in international law and international relations.
