Ms Jenifer Mackby

Jenifer Mackby has worked on non-proliferation and international security issues at the Federation of American Scientists, Partnership for a Secure America, Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).  She directed a  project on a BWC scientific advisory body for the Federation of American Scientists, and co-directed a project with the InterAcademy Partnership, in cooperation with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, on a proof of concept for such a BWC body. Ms. Mackby served as Secretary of the negotiations on the CTBT, the Group of Scientific Experts, the Verification Working Group at the CTBTO, a Biological Weapons Convention Review Conference, and a committee of the NPT Review Conference. She has led projects on a Russian-European study on bioterrorism, Asian Trilateral Nuclear Dialogues, 21st Century Nuclear Issues, U.S,-U.K. Nuclear Cooperation, among others. Ms. Mackby has lectured at universities, spoken at conferences around the world, and written extensively on these issues.
