Ms Nomi Bar-Yaacov

Ms Nomi Bar-Yaacov is an Associate Fellow within the Global Fellowship Initiative of the GCSP.

Nomi Bar-Yaacov is an award-winning international peace negotiator, human rights lawyer and geopolitical strategist with more than three decades of experience advising governments, international organisations, corporate leaders and boards on diplomacy, conflict resolution, geopolitical risk and strategic decision-making. A former Political Adviser in the Executive Office of the United Nations Secretary-General and former Speechwriter and Associate Spokesperson to Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, she has worked at the highest levels of international diplomacy and strategic communication. She is currently an Associate Fellow of the Global Fellowship Initiative at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). Nomi has spent her career operating in environments marked by complexity, uncertainty and competing interests. Her work has required a deep understanding of different cultures, political traditions and institutional perspectives.
