Ms Sarah Kostenbader

As an Associate Program Officer in the Mediation program / Swisspeace, Sarah Kostenbader works on the Syria portfolio to support to the mediation process and local peacebuilding efforts, as well as the Mediation Support Project in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Development, Democracy, and International Relations from the University of Zurich, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Modern History.

Prior to this role, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich on a research project in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has also held positions at ETH for Development (ETH4D) and Glocal Roots.
