More than 1’200 participants, from over 120 nations, from the public, non-profit and private sectors attend our courses every year. We are an international foundation with 54 member states from across the globe located in the state-of-the-art Maison de la paix at the heart of international Geneva. Learning Innovation Manager
Executive Education department
Part-time (50%)
The position is based in Geneva
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, development, and implementation of innovative learning approaches across open, customised, and online courses.
- Support and drive pedagogical innovation through advising the Executive Education team on the use of cutting-edge learning technologies.
- Co-design, orchestrate, and deliver learning activities across GCSP’s offerings: open enrollment, customized, and online courses.
- Ensure world-class learning experiences for GCSP’s current and future clients.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of participant experience and course effectiveness.
- Support and drive pedagogical innovation through cutting-edge learning approaches and technologies.
- Partner with Department Directors, internal Experts, and the business development team to ensure the successful design, support, and delivery of learning objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of GCSP’s offerings and long-term client engagement.
Additional duties
- Lead the monitoring and reporting of course impact and client satisfaction by collecting and analysing feedback, tracking agreed KPIs, and producing actionable insights to support continuous improvements.
- Management of learning platforms (experience with CLANED, Teach-up, Miro, SurveyMonkey, Padlet etc. is highly appreciated).
- Contribute learning design expertise to proposal development and course pitches, supporting the preparation of high-quality, client-specific concepts, materials, and presentations.
- Facilitate cross-departmental projects: ensure executive education initiatives align with broader organizational goals and leverage internal expertise; organize communities of practice.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communication team by contributing pedagogical content, course insights, and learning innovation inputs to support promotion and outreach activities.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and practical support to internal staff and course teams in learning design, digital learning tools, and relevant business development processes.
Required Education
- A master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. pedagogy/education, business administration, international relations, or related disciplines).
- Certificate in Executive Education Design, Learning Experience Design (LXD), Digital Learning/EdTech

Experience
- At least 5 years of functional experience in varied organisational environments (e.g., consulting, international organisations, corporate roles, or comparable settings), providing credibility in engaging with diverse and senior audiences.
- Practice managing or collaborating on multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in learning, consulting, or organisational development contexts.
- Comfortable in introducing or supporting innovative learning approaches, digital learning tools, or new pedagogical methods, and AI tools, in professional or executive education contexts.
- Demonstrated experience designing executive or professional learning activities for adult audiences and supporting educators or course teams in applying instructional design principles.
- At ease working with high level clients in learning and organisational contexts.
- Experience facilitating workshops, group learning processes, or coaching professionals would be advantageous.
