International Defence Attaché Course 2027, Nairobi Edition
The course guideline is 'Content, Culture and Social'. The intensive schedule includes a variety of practical work, such as exercises and analytical methods, as well as panels and discussions. It also covers specific cultural aspects of the region, such as protocol and security, and social aspects, such as receptions and official lunches.
The Defence and Diplomacy course focuses on the international aspects of the military, defence and security aspects of diplomacy. It is a pre-deployment practical training for country representatives dealing with security issues, primarily designed for Defence Attachés as complimentary to the national training.
It is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into all the duties of a defence attaché in an international setting that closely resembles the real-life context of the role.

Who should attend
All military officers and civil servants working in the field of Defence Diplomacy and Defence International Relations. Priority will be given to (future) Defence Attachés.
Costs
No course fee, participants take care of flights and lodging.
Upon Invitation only. Invitations are sent approx. 6 months in advance to the invited countries. Individual invitations possible upon request.
