Navigating Global Security Challenges: Chinese and European Perspectives
This event will be held in cooperation with the China Institute at Fudan University. It will take place at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy.

The initial presentation will be given by Professor ZHANG Weiwei, Director of the China Institute at Fudan University. In the subsequent panel discussion, he will be joined by Dr Mikko Huotari, head of MERICS – Europe’s leading think tank on China, and Ambassador Oleksandr Chalyi, former First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs for Ukraine.
This public discussion, including the Q&A session, is focused on fostering dialogue between Chinese and European experts on pressing international security issues. The event will explore geopolitical strategies, cooperation opportunities, and differing approaches to global security concerns from both regions' perspectives.
