Mr Mark Knight
Mr Mark Knight was an Executive-in-Residence within the Global Fellowship Initiative of the GCSP. Mark Knight has broad experience of security and human rights during transitions and in complex environments, including directly supported peace-dialogue processes in Indonesia, Nepal, The Philippines, Myanmar, & Thailand. Mark has operational delivered DDR and Stabilisation programmes in Africa and Asia. He has devised and delivered confidential security transition training to armed-insurgents preparing for dialogue, including training and planning for ceasefires. As a Board Member of the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Providers – Association (ICOCA), he designed and delivered human rights due-diligence policies and processes for private sector companies. Mark has worked for multilateral organisations, international NGOs, and consulted for national governments. Mark has operational military experience with the British army.
