On 12 April 2022, our director Ambassador Thomas Greminger was invited to give his a keynote speech on global terrorism during the online launch of the Institute of Economics and Peace 2022 Global Terrorism Index report. “In order to combat modern terrorism, there must be a real understanding of the root causes of extremism and their links to climate change, poor governance, corruption and the fact that many young people simply have no opportunities to find a job or lead a meaningful life.”, says Greminger.
