A distinguished former FBI Executive, Lauren C. Anderson now builds upon her geopolitical, international security, and crisis management expertise to work as a consultant with women leaders and youth throughout the globe to prevent conflict, advocate for social justice, and challenge economic inequalities. Anderson led FBI Legal Attaché offices in Europe and Africa and directed all international terrorism investigations of the FBI’s New York Joint Terrorism Task Force. An advisor to the U.S. Comptroller General at the Government Accountability Office, on international security, intelligence, law enforcement, and criminal justice, she is also a Global Ambassador with Vital Voices. She is the Board Chair for the Red Dot Foundation/Safecity and on the boards of Project Liberation and the documentary film The Uncondemned, which tells the story of the first prosecution of rape as a war crime. An expert with the Women’s Media Center, Anderson is a member of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, the International Women’s Forum, and the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and executive certifications from Harvard Business School, Cambridge Judge Business School, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School and the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. She speaks English and French.
