Inauguration of the GCSP Alumni and Community Hub in Vienna
The Geneva Centre for Security Policy together with the Austrian National Defence Academy cordially invite all GCSP Alumni based in Austria and the neighbouring Slovak Republic to the inauguration of the GCSP Alumni Community Hub Austria.
The Commandant of the Austrian National Defence Academy, LTG Csitkovits, as member of the GCSP Foundation Council will host the inaugural event on 30 September.
Following the inauguration of the Hub, the Military Policy Division of the Austrian MoD will share their insights and reflexions on what will be on the agenda during the Austrian Chairmanship of the OSCE’s Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC). The Forum works to increase military security and stability in Europe and covers some of the most fundamental politico-military agreements of the OSCE participating States. Europe’s security situation is challenging, with rising tensions between NATO and Russia, persistent unresolved territorial conflicts in Ukraine, Moldova and between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the proliferation of small arms and light weapons and poorly managed ammunition depots.
