  1. Team Argonauts from ETH Zürich wins the 7th European Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge 

Team "Argonauts" from ETH Zürich were the winners of the 2021 Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge co-organised by the GCSP and the Atlantic Council. The two-day virtual competition welcomed 24 teams from around the world. The competition scenario was based on a cyber incident affecting pan-European healthcare infrastructure. Teams were required to respond to ever-changing situations and offer strategic policy recommendations, from a European point of view, to heads of state, government leaders, senior officials and representatives from the private sector. 

 

  1. The New Director of the GCSP Has Been Appointed 

In January 2021 at the GCSP’s Foundation Council Meeting, the President, Ambassador Jean-David Levitte, and the representatives of the 53 member states and the Canton of Geneva, appointed the new director of the GCSP, Ambassador Thomas Greminger, former Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
